Meet Laura Licursi
Hi, I’m Laura, the founder and visionary behind Elite Virtual Assistants. After an exciting career with the Cleveland Indians and the birth of my daughter in 1997, my focus changed from career to motherhood. I then started working from home as a Virtual Assistant in the financial industry catering to wholesalers and financial advisors. In 2015 and 3 kids later, EVA was born. What started as a virtual assistant service has grown into a full-service virtual assistant agency offering a wide range of services and catering to a variety of industries.
My delegating journey really began in 2017 when I realized that in order for Elite Virtual Assistants to continue to grow, I had to let go of some of the daily duties that were keeping me from working ON the business. As owners we tend to think we have to “do it all”, but in reality, that’s what holds us back from true growth. I started with one virtual assistant who, like me, wore many hats. As I started adding more people to my internal team, I was able to break each person’s tasks into roles, which really helped everyone work in their zone of genius, and keep me in mine. Today we have a team of 7 that helps me run our agency, but I wouldn’t have this team in place if I didn’t take that all-important first step.
What sets my virtual assistant agency apart from the rest is the fact that we take a boutique approach when working with our clients and virtual assistants, because no two businesses are the same. We work hard to ensure that we are servicing our clients to the best of our ability.
I also invest heavily in the culture of our virtual assistant agency and believe that every team member has a voice that needs to be heard. I believe wholeheartedly in investing in yourself and your business and am proud to say that I’m a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program.
Elite Virtual Assistants believes in an inclusive culture and proudly holds 3 certifications; MBE (Minority Business Enterprise), EDGE (Encouraging Diversity, Growth & Equity, and WBE (Women-Owned Business Enterprise).
We lead with grateful hearts, compassion for those we serve, and a professional edge that sets us apart from the rest.
